roses for Elena

when I was 10 year old, I lost one of my dear friends in a horrible accident. her name was Elena and she was full of joy. she was friendly and kind with everybody and seemed one of those people who couldn't hate anyone. We shared the same desk at school and the sweetest memories were when she was reading me fairy tales in the 10 minutes break after each class. She had a lovely way of reading, making the voices for each character,
I remember the day when we were announced in class, that she died in a very gruesome accident. I was shocked and i couldn't believe that happened. I was 10 years old as well and for me the shock of death seemed somehow like a bad horror story...i still couldn't believe she was gone. After few days, the whole class went to the funeral. The casket was opened and she looked so serene. For me, that memory remained tattooed in my brain. After so many years, i still feel extremely sad thinking she died that way. I can never forget her and her memory will always bring tears in my eyes. Death sucks...and sometimes we just cannot get over it...
